Dress-up
We got out the halloween box and found Mama's dress-up clothes!  So, the background is cluttered and I had to bump up the 'grain' a ton to not use the flash, but she's so shiny and happy that I had to post anyway!

My husband also found this grub in our compost pit...yuuucckkkk!

Matching Dresses
OK, there are a lot of photos today, but too bad!  These two girls have the sweetest relationship and sometimes, I think I get it.

They like to talk about how when the smaller one turns 4 (they're a month and half apart), she'll be as tall as the taller one.

Friends touching hands.

I like the setting and the whole photo.  But, I love to look at the interaction between the two of them too.

They blend in a bit, but I like it this way.  I like how the colors "coordinate".

FALL FESTIVAL - MOMS Club
Mom MOMS club had their annual fall festival.  Super cute kiddos for sure!  I think maybe I should have played with the fill flash because there were lots of shadows.

Let's be honest, it's one of three MOMS events I go to...mostly because of the delicousness that abounds.

What gorgeous eyes!  Come on, this is straight out of the camera!

I didn't take the candy off his face - isn't that the point of halloween!!

Playdate!
Another playdate at the playground.  The afternoon sun vs. shade was harsh, but I think I captured the essence of the girls.

Spontaneous Play!
Another friend happened to be at the park, so what better time than the present to shoot away!  This is "Batgirl".  She is super sweet and sometimes a little sassy.  Me:  "What kind of cupcakes are you bringing for the party tomorrow?"  Walking away, turns her head to me with her finger to her lips, "It's a surprise."  Well, it was a pleasant surprise to get to play with her today.

Can you tell I had some fun with photoshop today?

FIRST FIELD TRIP
My oldest daughter went on her very first school field trip!  OK, so it's preschool, but it's a big deal to mama!  The light kept changing and I was a bit frustrated by this, but one of the children's dads is an excellent photographer and he gave me a great tip about fill light!  I'm hoping there's a flash in my future!  (not a hot flash please:))

The "Nanny" or really Uncle Wavy

The baby was THRILLED to get to sit with the big kids.

First Thing in the Morning
Went out first thing in the morning to see how the very early morning light was and to work on learning my distance to subject vs. aperture.  My youngest just doesn't want to look at the camera any more, but that's a bit expected!
