big-sister-to-be

I'm not sure who's more excited about baby...mama or big sister.  This is the most loved little boy in the universe and he's not even here yet.  And, I know he's going to capture everyone's hearts, just like his big sis.

MOMS Club - part deux

We frolicked.  We froze.  We screamed at airplanes and peacocks.  But most of all, we captured this moment in time.  Thank you moms.

MOMS Club mini - first half

I knew it was a great day when a little boy wanted to run across the parking lot to give me a hug goodbye.  No major meltdowns, no illnesses and no broken bones.   That's a very successful MOMS adventure.  Thank you ladies for such beautiful subjects!   (The second half is on its way.)

sister sister

Could it be any easier?  Two beauties that just loved the camera and the camera loves them.  I think they may secretly be models, but shhhh, don't tell mama.

young love in shiner, tx
The favors were a bottle of shiner with their married names on the label.  Very cool.

The groom recently completed a round of service in Iraq.  With a brother-in-law of mine soon to do a tour in Kuwait, I am very appreciative of and humbled by the dedication of service people to our country and their families.  Thank you.

ps - Mike Reed is the main photog...check him out and his new website!

i heart faces entry  |  sunflare   |   barbara legere austin photography

this image makes my heart sing.

it's likely not the best example of sunflare, and probably not contest worthy.  but, i absolutely love it.  i was busy off happily chatting with a high school friend who i haven't seen in years.  we realized we were late for dinner and i went to round up my girls and i found this.  big sis entertaining lil sis.  trust me, it doesn't happen very often.

i also love this image because my girls are wearing exactly what they love to wear.  eldest dressed herself in a stunning clashing combo and baby girl, in daytime pajamas and dressy shoes.  those are my girls.  i love 'em.

capture today, it'll be gone tomorrow.
